This year I have to keep the snow blower outside. The cover is a good weight and sturdy, and relatively easy to put on and take off.
I was concerned about how it would stay on because I was not impressed with the tie downs, but it has not blown off. |

| Great Value |
| By Roland (Omaha, NE) |
I bought the snow blower January 2, 2010 and assembled it in less than 30 minutes using easy to follow instructions.
Assembly included: mounting the handle (four bolts) mounting the discharge chute (two bolts) inserting and pinning the chute crank (one locking pin) and connecting the speed selector linkage (two bolts). Even the mechanically-challenged can handle this assembly.
I woke up the next morning to 3" of new snow which added to the 14" already on the ground. The machine started right up and ran like a top.
After clearing the new snow I went to work on cleaning up some of the old snow that accumulated. The snow blower made short work of it, even though a freezing rain made the old snow pretty crusty.
I purchased the optional cover for my snow blower and it fit like a glove right out of the box. |

| SNOW BLOWER COVER |
| By SNOW KING (North Pole, NH) |
I own an Ariens snow blower 824 stage 2. I do not have a shed, nor a garage. I used a tarp the first year which did not work too well at times.
I had reservations about spending so much for an Ariens cover. One day in the late fall I went to buy an electrical cord for the snow blower. While I was looking at the no-name covers an older gentleman who worked at the store told me he had an Ariens snow blower himself.
To my surprise he said "I would buy the Ariens cover, it's much better and worth it". Well, I have to say after numerous snow and ice storms in the winter of 08-09 this cover is well worth every dime.
I would recommend if you have a 2 stage larger than 24 inches, that you buy the larger cover. |

| Works Great! |
| By Ola Joe (Aurora, CO) |
This machine starts right up and moves snow quickly.
Here is the best part: You can move snow and adjust the throwing direction at the same time.
I thought all snow blowers with chute controls could do this but they can't. Also this one lets you shift on the fly forward or reverse, and it covers a lot of ground fast. |

| Farmer's Almanac Winter 2010 Forecast |
| By Jon Hoch, Founder (Bolingbrook, IL) |
Groundhogs Day is a downright hoax. The Farmer’s Almanac, however, may be onto something.
Last year, the 193-year-old publication was on target when it called for the second straight winter with lots of snow.
The almanac's 2010 edition is predicting a major snowfall in mid-February possibly even blizzard conditions for New England.
The 2008 & 2009 winters in Chicago were unseasonably harsh. Spring waited until late May to finally sprung two years in a row.
In fact, it’s been cool in the Windy City this summer too. Despite all the hysteria over global warming, Chicago didn’t see a single day over 100 degrees this summer. We experienced only a handful of days above 90 degrees.
Will the cold streak continue as predicted? We’ll find out soon enough. |
