Q: The Ariens orange spray model # 8500 is this suitable for painting the plastic side panels?

A: Scott - this paint is really designed for metal parts, not the plastic parts. It will adhere to the plastic parts, but it may not match when it drys.

 Simplicity I1224e (24") 250cc Two-stage Snow Blower

Snow blower looks, starts and runs great...even though I haven't had a chance to use it in the snow yet. I had a few small issues that customer service took care of quickly. This is my first snow blower and can't wait to try it out.

I ordered my Ariens snow blower 921018 in October and received it 4 days later. I paid extra for lift-gate service and the truck driver put it right into my garage.

The snow blower was in perfect condition when I opened the box and I was pleased with the whole experience with Snow Blowers Direct.

There was some assembly required, and even reading the directions it took some time to understand them and put it together. In the directions it said to add oil to the snowblower, but it was already filled, if you didn't know that you would over fill it.

 Old Snow Blower

I bought my ST824 back in 1986. It has been a great machine but was showing signs of age.

I had to replace the auger shaft bearing so while it was all apart I took off all the peeling paint and rust and I brought it back to life. I also rebuilt the carb. and used the Ariens brand orange paint to make it look and run like new.

It is good for another twenty years.
