The Ariens ST22LE features top-of-the-line materials in its parts, like an aluminum gear case, a serrated steel auger and a steel chute. With a Disc-O-Matic drive system and a 208cc Ariens branded LCT engine, you’ll find that this snow thrower can handle heavy, wet snow with ease.
The intake housing height has been increased this year from 17” to 20”, so this compact machine will attack snow falls of up to 12 inches, and drifts as deep as 18 inches with little or no trouble. Also new on this year’s model are a pedestal headlight to light up your path on those dreary winter evenings, and heavier intake augers to help this machine pull in more snow.
The two-stage Ariens ST22LE is a heavy-duty snow thrower in a small package. It lacks some amenities like power steering, but in terms of performance and durability, you’ll find it's hard to beat.

I ordered this in June 2010 and it was backordered until August. No problem of course, since there is no snow yet.
I obviously can't give a review on the snowblower, other than it was easy to assemble the few pieces not already put together.
I really wanted to say that I was very happy with the updates from Snow Blowers Direct to keep me informed on my order, the price and the shipping.
R & L shipping delivered my item and they were terrific! They worked with my busy work schedule and delivered on time and with no hassles.
So far, a very positive experience. I will update again when the snow comes. |
