Read'um & weep!
I purchased a compact 26 last year days before a predicted 12'+ snowfall and was promised delivery before the snowfall. Unfortunately, on the way to NJ it spent three days in a Chicago terminal due to a blizzard there. When I received it there was a nut/bolt missing from the handle bar and the choke knob was missing from the engine. Ariens sent the nut/bolt ans B&S sent the knob. Fortunately, the predicted snow stayed north and I never was able to use the blower so I covered it and left it in the garage until this past Saturday. I started to set up the blower and realized one tire was flat! Ariens sent a new tire & rim.
When I went to check the adjustments I had a clunking/binding noise when I depressed the auger control. I removed the bottom cover and everything looked OK so I removed the belt cover and you wouldn't believe it (see attached photos). The bolt that holds the auger belt pulley was hanging out about 3/8 to 1/2" with the lock washer dangling in the breeze. Of course there is no way to get a wrench on it so I had to split the unit. When I tried to tighten the bolt it wouldn't move! Whoever assembled it at the plant crossed threaded the bolt and left it where it stopped which allowed the pulley to drift out and the misalignment pushed the brake lever roller onto the rivets which caused the binding noise.
The local dealer said come on down (1/2 hour drive one way) I have it. We looked it up and he said he had 5 but he hit the wrong part number. He didn't have the bolt and said leave the housing there for a few days. I stopped at Harbor Freight and bought a tap/die set, cleaned the threads and the bolt slid right in. I'm afraid to put gas in it and try to start it! Then I find out that Ariens discontinued the compact 26! I've been using Ariens blowers for over 30 years and never had any problems until now. Usually I pray for snow, now I pray for rain!!

At Last!
Well I use to shovel my snow by hand until this year because I had hurt my shoulder and am in need of a hip replacement. The mobility isn't there anymore!
I looked on Consumer Reports and found the Ariens brand was very dependable. I wanted a 2 stage machine, with electric start, self propelled, and easy chute controls. I got all that plus a headlight!
Our first snow was a 4-6 inch accumulation that I actually had to use it at a slower speed because it was gobbling it up so fast. Our test came in the form of a 10 inch snow and I was dreading the end of my driveway after the township plowed me in. I had a 3 foot wall of snow there and I had to clear it out so my wife could get to work (nurses don't get snow days!).
It use to take us an our to dig out. I was done in 10-15 minutes with the machine. I also bought the snow accumulation retardant spray and didn't get any jams. I highly recommend this machine to anyone that needs a dependable workhorse.
Incidentally, I don't know how the electric start works because the pull start gets the machine running on the first pull.

When it Works, It really throws!
However, it only worked two weeks. I might mention this has been a history snow year and my snowblower sits in the repair shop (Ariens solution to a two week old lemon instead of replacement). They have found two manufacturer defects, one which caused flames to shoot out the side while using. And the other - the controls were installed incorrectly at the factory. I am impressed with it when it worked, but angry that I have had to shovel by hand for the last month, with no due date in site.

Great snow blower!
Live in Annapolis, MD and purchased this snow blower a month ago. Received it within 3 days but waited until the night of the 25 January 2011 storm to put it together.
Took slightly over an hour, longest time was spent on the headlight, but it was more than worth it! Have never moved snow more easily than I did with Ariens 26 blower.
Highly recommended and thanks to Snow Blower Direct for a great price and purchase experience.

Great Machine
I decided to replace my Honda one-stage snow blower after the December 2010 blizzard. I am in the power tool & equipment repair business and service snow blowers for a living. I service many different brands and the Ariens machine is very well constructed, and performed great during the last snow storm a few days ago.
I also would like to note that buying the machine from snow blowers direct was a very good experience, I ordered the machine on a Tuesday and it arrived on Thursday of the same week.
GREAT MACHINE & GREAT PEOPLE TO BUY IT FROM

Satisfaction
Shipped before promised, no problems with delivery, blower was in perfect condition, and kicked butt the next week with a foot and a half of snow with drifts to two feet.
Little nervous making purchase online but they were nothing but professional on the phone and that was all I needed. Very satisfied with overall experience.
Great machine. Would recommend it to anyone, as a matter of fact, I already have. Bring on the snow!

It is a fantastic machine. The Kaiser Tank of snow blowers. Effortlessly going up 45 degree hills. More powerful than a Chinese made Powerland, faster than a speeding bullet, able to leap tall snow drifts in a single bound...LOOK UP IN THE SKY... IT'S SNOWING AGAIN!!!!....and thank goodness for my Ariens snowblower!!!!!!!

snowblower review
I love my new snowblower. It bites right through the snow real easy, my only concern or problem that I have is the electric start. Why can't it be set up to hold a charge. It is fine if you're at home to use the extension cord but consider being out doing jobs where there is no outlet or better yet what do you do drag a 100 foot cord with you and walk threw a foot or 2 of snow at the customers and try to find an outlet to plug into.
Other than that one issue I think it is great can"t wait for next storm to play in.

It was the best decicion I ever made.
Snow Blowers Direct promised to deliver the snow blower on a Thursday and it came in one day before, no scratches or defects. The delivery driver was very kind and place the machine where I ask him to with out giving me a hard time.
After I spent 10 minutes assembling the machine, started right up and I was ready for the huge storm that was on the way the following day.
I was so happy with the purchase and the result of the same that I told my co-workers about it and they already went and bought one for themselves.
Thank you Snow blowers direct for such a great service.

Snow blower in N.Y.
I recently purchased the Ariens Compact 26" after the Christmas weekend blizzard. Let me start off by saying the assembly instructions are horrendous, not clear and the spotlight was difficult to install finally but after 2 days I figured out how to install it on my own.
Finally with the new snowblower assembled I was praying for snow. On January 12th N.Y. got hit with another snow storm that amounted to 12" in wet snow. I took out the mighty Ariens Compact 26 for the first time and it started right up and I proceeded to clear all the snow away from my sidewalk and driveway. The machine worked effortlessly until I was just about finished when the machine stopped self-propelling and auger stopped spinning. I was sure that I did not hit any foreign objects!
So, I turned the machine off and checked to see if the impeller was jammed and it wasn't, frustrated I called Snow Blowers Direct and they gave me Ariens Service desk plus a bunch of authorized Ariens service shops in my area. Ariens Service took my phone# and said a mechanic would call me back and they never did! I called the authorized Ariens Service shop in my area and they said bring it in! Long story short, my neighbor is a mechanic and pulled the cover off to find the pulley screw and all the belts got loose making the machine inoperable. My neighbor reattached the screw to the pulley and the belts and it was up and running again.
First time out the machine broke down on me and I bought this model and paid the premium to get the Ariens and I am not impressed. Very disappointing experience and while my $1000 machine was broken down I got to watch my other neighbors blow their snow with single stage machines!

So far, so good!
After shoveling 27" from my driveway from the Dec 26 storm I finally caved and bought this snow blower. The customer rep was really pleasant and answered all the questions and concerns. I bought it on Tuesday and it was delivered on Friday. Delivery was great - it was snowing when they delivered it and they brought it in to my garage on a dolly.
Took me about an hour to finish the assembly. I was a little worried, but it was pretty simple. I had to leave out of town for business and I gave my wife a 5 minute instruction on how to operate it. And wouldn't you know it, we got about 8 inches in a few days and my wife took care of clearing out the driveway. Took her 15 minutes and she never got out of second gear! Use to take at least an hour or more. Very satisfied with the product and the people at Snow Blowers Direct.
The machine appears very well built and constructed. No problems with the deflector mechanism (which I hear can be a problem on others). I did change the pin in the wheel so that both wheels are spinning on the axle (better traction). I did this only because I thought my wife might have a harder time keeping it going straight with just one wheel on the axle.
Just one problem and it's minor. The headlight doesn't seem to light. I haven't had a chance to check it out. I probably need to check the voltage in the plug or maybe it's the bulb.

The snow blower was not working property after I assembled it. I called Ariens and the tech told me to take it to the nearest authorized repair shop. It turned out that there was a recall on the snow blower and the local authorized dealer repaired it. It's now working, so far.

The Real Deal
This machine is the real deal. From the sturdy construction and many useful features, to the ease of operation, this Ariens is a great product. It was easy to assemble in less than an hour. Using the electric start feature it fired up with one push of the button.
The Ariens effortlessly cuts through snow using just one hand to control it. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend this machine to everyone.

Good snow blower but not a great experience
The snowblower works great. It was simple to set up but the instructions were confusing. I tossed them aside and just used common sense. The delivery was a bad experience. The original delivery date was missed, even after the shipping company called to confirm. I took a day off to accept delivery and it never arrived. I had to chase after the shipping company. I called Snow Blowers Direct who said they would call the shipper and get back to me, they never did, I called the first trucking company, they hung up with me, I finally called the second trucking company (I only had the number because I have caller ID and they called to confirm delivery on the first missed arrival date). It arrived and they left it on a pallet in my driveway. Bottom line good snow blower bad customer service and delivery.

Great Snow Blower
Purchased from Snow Blowers Direct after comparing different models I chose the Ariens 26" two stage. It was delivered on time. It took me 30 minutes to put together. I added gas and it started right up.
The last storm delivered 10"+ and the blower worked 100%. Hats off to Ariens & Snow Blowers Direct!!!!
P.S. Ariens products are made in the U.S.A.

So far... Outstanding
I have a rather long story and to keep it short, wanted a snow blower that had enough power to handle a moderate to heavy snow fall in addition to the 3 to 5 inches that we often get in our area of Central New Jersey. I also wanted something that was easy to store and the Ariens Compact fit that bill. The price was right as well. I bought it for $949.00 delivered and did not pay for lift gate service. I knew I could get it off the truck if I needed to.
I ordered the machine, understanding that it was on back-order, but was assured that it would be shipped by Dec 27, 2010. I was notified by email that it was shipped on December 23! It arrived on December 29 and the driver took it off the truck with a pallet jack, placed it in my garage and tipped up that carton and took the pallet with him.
It took me about a half hour to assemble the handle bar, chute and linkage bar. I checked the oil and added some gas. I primed as directed, choked and pulled the pull start cord. It started on the second pull. I did have to wait to get an opportunity to see just how well it moved the snow, however. Well, on January 11, 2011, we got our opportunity. My son-in-law first cleared his driveway and upon completion, told me he did not feel like he had earned his hot chocolate! He was done in about 30 to 40 minutes. I then walked it up the street and began clearing my driveway. The snow plow had cleared the street and a good bit of heavy snow was thrown up onto the end of our driveway, but the compact machine bit right in and made short work of it.
The machine starts easily with the pull cord, but also with the electric power start. I used a 14 gauge utility extension cord to test it and it worked fine... It did have a little difficulty with only one drive wheel locked in. Once I locked the second tire in to get the positive traction from both wheels, it just when to work. I would say we had about 10 inches of snow in this storm. The speed set on #2, it just continued to throw the snow and never really bogged down. The adjustment of the chute is simple and the way the controls are designed, you can let go of the auger control to adjust the chute without skipping a beat!
Bottom line... if you want a snow blower that will be easy to store (no more room than a lawn mower), easy to use and powerful enough to handle a heavy snow, this is the machine. May be a little more money than some of the smaller units, but a lot of machine in a little package. I give an A+ !
The transaction with Snow Blowers Direct was about as easy as it could have been! Thanks to all that assisted!

A Life Made Easier
The past years we were just contended with our 4 year old snowblower, we struggled with it and we lived with it. A friend mentioned about his new snowblower and talked about the better kinds of snowblowers. Ariens was one of the quality snowblowers he mentioned.
I researched about it and found a good deal with Snow Blowers Direct. We got it and we couldn't wait to receive our shipment. January 12, 2010 came and my husband was so excited to try it for the first time. He wanted to use the new snowblower himself and specifically instructed me not to clean the driveway.
He is very happy with his Ariens, it's powerful, easy to maneuver and it took him half the time to finish the work. He never thought life could be easier. Now he looks forward to using it every time we have snow accumulation. We are even more grateful we have an Ariens shop less than 10 miles from home. Ariens was meant for us and Ariens made our life easier.

Took delivery of my blower, packing was good and had it put together in about 20 minutes, read all the instructions checked all the fluids and she started on second pull, now just had to wait for the white stuff to arrive.
Well it snowed on January 11th woke up to 5 inches; not terrible but enough to use my big orange machine. She fired right up, I took a pass up the driveway and started back down then, uh oh, it stopped throwing the snow. So I shut down the engine and pushed into garage and started looking for obvious clues.
Well I found it; seems two bolts that hold the auger intake were not installed and the front of blower was shifted and dropped a little causing the large pulley to rub on bottom of intake and throw the belt. Now I have a snow covered driveway and sidewalk and have to take it to a service center and pray I get it back in time for next round.

Ordered machine on January 4th after wife convinced me to buy a snowblower after the Christmas blizzard in the northeast and received it on January 7th. Followed instructions to a T to make sure everything was put together correctly. Only took about an hour at a very leisurely pace.
Checked the oil and it showed that it was full. Filled it with gas, turned it on, choked it, primed it twice and pulled the starter cord. The engine started right away and ran for about 2 seconds, heard a loud popping noise, the engine stopped and a continual spinning sound came from the pull-start housing for about 15 seconds. Tried pulling the cord again and there was no tension at all. Obviously, a defective motor.
This is where it gets interesting and I advise you not to buy anything like this online without the ability to return the machine immediately for a refund or replacement. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way.
First, I called Ariens directly. Very short conversation they told me where the closest authorized repair shop was. Called Snow Blowers Direct and received no customer satisfaction at all, just a "sorry," we will look into it and a phone number of the closest authorized repair center. (They never called me back!)
Took the blower to the authorized repair shop and they told me since this is warranty work, they will not even look at it for three weeks, determine what the problem is, then put in a warranty claim and see what happens. No blower and another snowstorm coming tonight. I did not call Briggs and Stratton because I knew they would only give me the phone number of a local authorized repair shop.
Will never buy another product like this online again and I advise you to do the same. You may pay a little extra at your local retail shop, but at least you will have the ability to return the defective item immediately.

NO KEY FOR MY NEW SNOW BLOWER
I received my new snowblower without a key. I called Snow Blowers Direct. The customer service rep offered to send an e-mail to Ariens but said it may be faster to call Ariens myself. I called and talked to the people at Ariens at least 4 times before they sent an e-mail that stated my key was in the mail. I finally got the key today, 10 days after my first communication with Ariens. Meanwhile, my driveway is covered with compacted snow from our cars driving on it. So much for customer service. I haven't tried to start the snowblower yet, just got back from work. Also, I cannot figure out how to mount the light. The people at Ariens sent instructions via e-mail. I wonder how a company like Ariens can continue to stay in business with such poor service. The End

snow of 2010
In New Jersey we recently had a major storm. My sears snow blower of 9 years decided to finally die while I was half way through. So I went looking for a snow blower and no one had any. So I went on line. I was skeptical of buying one on the internet but I read the reviews and everyone was satisfied. I gave it a try. The delivery was perfect. They called and dropped it off the next day. I was not at home but the driver dropped it by my garage door. The day it came we had another few inches. when I got home I started to put it together. No lie it took less than a 1/2 hr ( that includes taking it out of the carton. I put gas in and away I went. Thank you for you service and so far a great product. I already recommend others looking for a snow blower to consider your company.

Ariens is the best
I dumped my old Craftsman and took the $900 loss of a machine that only lasted a few short snow storms and only 2 winters and I bought an Ariens ST26LE from Snow Blowers Direct.
The service was excellent and I mean excellent. Right to my door. I ordered it 2 days after Christmas and it was on back order until the 29th so I did not expect this machine for two weeks. Well today is January 4th and the machine sits in my garage as of yesterday January 3rd at 9:00 a.m.
The truck driver pulled it off the truck and put it right in my garage for me, and putting it together was very simple. The money I spent, $50 for lift-gate service, was way less than I would of spent on taxes here in Taxachusetts. Best of all, I am stress free knowing the next big snow storm coming in just 3 days will be a piece of cake.
I am so glad to rid my life of that piece of crap Craftsman, I can not stress enough of how cheap that top dollar Craftsman was made. My new machine does not have one piece of cheep plastic on it, I can now turn up the engine to a higher speed whereas the Craftsman was a manufactured controlled set speed which truely sucked for wet snow. Here in New England even if it was 3 inches I got out the old shovel knowing the Craftsman could not handle it. In fact, the machine totally burnt up and the cheap pulleys even got bent on the last and final snow storm.
Every one of my friends own Ariens snow blowers and they all love them. One of those machines is still throwing snow and its over 30 years old. Be wise and save yourself a lot of stress and buy the best: Ariens.
Thank you Ariens and thank you many times also goes to Snow Blowers Direct for your excellent service.

Ariens heated grips for ST26LE
These were somewhat easy to install but the wire harness routing end of things did leave a little bit to be desired. You need to use caution to route wiring so it won't be cut or pinched by any of the controls.
Also, I'll be curious to see how well the switch holds up to moisture. But all in all, they're a nice addition to our new Ariens ST26LE thus far.

We had 16 - 18 inches on Long Island, NY. My old blower was a 5 hp Murray, which worked great for 16 years, but struggled last year. Anyway this 7.5 hp Ariens did the job. See the picture even with the mouth almost completely full, it threw the stuff over my car without laboring. I would highly recommend this blower to anyone.

very high quality but hard to assemble.
Everything with it is great, very high quality. It's not easy to assemble, though, and I got no help from Snowblower's Direct customer service (they said in a friendly way, "I don't know how to assemble it.")
They did give me the Ariens factory number, I called Ariens, and they got somebody off the production line to answer my question (the instructions are hard to read, etc., which hurts the assembly process). Once I got it assembled, everything was fine.

A thing of beauty ........
I ordered this unit on Sunday 12/26. The blower was delivered 3 days later on Wed as promised. The R & L driver was quite nice and very helpful. I spent 20 minutes putting the blower chute, light and handle on. It was quite simple and straight forward. Then I stood there and admired my new toy. I filled her up with non-oxy gas and primed 2 X ..... one swift pull and up she fired. It is raining in Mpls today and also supposed to tomorrow which is a bummer after a record 35+ " of snow in Dec 2010 here. Can't wait for the next dumping. I was very impressed with SBD and R & L shipping. It may sound strange but I love my new snowblower.

Received Snow Thrower Without Belts Attached
I read the enclosed manual that was written very poorly and poor photos. I managed to get the snowblowers remaining parts screwed together. Unfortunately, I could never get the auger to turn. I spent hours reading the manual and searching online for a better manual to no avail. I had no way of moving it by myself, nor did I have a vehicle to transport it in, plus I live in very rural Wyoming. We had already received 200 inches of snow by this time. Finally I made contact with Mel at Ariens and after two phone calls and having two neighbors review my work, Mel talked me through the removal of the belt bottom and top covers to find that the belt was not on. I could not get it on (I was working with two injured thumbs). My neighbor and Mel finally succeeded. This was so unecessary, so many hours wasted, so much snow shoveled.
I needed better photos or actual photos any kind of a video would have been great. I actually went online to see photos, which helped so much. I should have bought local.

Excellent service great product
I had an old early-70's vintage Ariens that finally gave up. I knew I really wanted another Ariens most likely and checked locally this past Sunday. All that any place had were the lower-end versions with plastic parts, cheap plastic MTD's or Toro's, or $1500 John Deere units.
I'd looked at the SBD site before venturing out at 8 AM Sunday morning to check the stores and had told the wife that if nothing could be found we'd gamble and order online. Well, I can't be any happier with our "gamble" lol.
I placed the order Sunday night. Monday morning we received the shipping confirmation and R&L (great carrier by the way) PRO number. They called on Tuesday to set up the delivery to our house in a residential area. The driver was helpful and even did lend us a hand removing the 190-lb pallet-box from the truck.
It took roughly 20 minutes to bolt up the handlebar, light, chute and controls, and misc parts. Then today I filled up the tank and used the electric start (the Ariens cord is NOT a necessity... just use any good drop cord) and it fired up immediately. I did the 15-minute run-in for the belt and then checked adjustments. All looked great.
I tried a small area where we still had some decent snow and it simply ate it up. I'm sure this Ariens will last a long time as the last one did, and may end up doing a couple upgrades (hand warmers and cab) plus once it's broken-in I'll put in synthetic oil as always.
In closing... SBD was great and Ariens IMO is a great machine.

New York City Blizzard of 2010
Took delivery in November. No problem with assembly.
The blower started on the first pull and I was off. It cut through snow and threw it with ease.
I had 4 foot drifts which didn't slow me down.
I have no problem recommending this model.

Great Experience
The information that you provided was excellent. The blower was delivered on time without any issues. The assembly of the handle, light, and chute controls were straight-forward.
It started without a problem and we've already used it twice. My wife loves it. The only problem we've had is that the light does not work.

Manual Difficult to Interpret
The photographs in the manual are very difficult to interpret. We therefore haven't got the snow blower running yet & there's 8-12" of snow coming. The Ariens techs are taking a Christmas holiday was the message when we called. NOW is when we need the darned thing!!!!!!!

Ariens Model 920015
Delivery was prompt. I did not go for the hydraulic lift-gate but the driver helped me get it off his truck onto my pickup for the trip up my driveway.
Assembly was not too difficult. The manual was good (as opposed to very good or excellent) but some assembly was difficult because the manual was not clear. I visited a nearby Home Depot to see some assembled units.
I was hoping that this unit would not clog with wet snow, but Ariens included a plastic shovel (appreciated) to clear the discharge chute when needed. We have not had snow yet so I can't comment on performance.

FUN!
I received my Ariens about 3 weeks before our first snowfall. I was quite surprised to see a 50-ft semi delivering my order, especially where I live- country gravel road, ridge top, kinda back woods. Outside of tractors, we don't have much traffic.
Anyway, the snow blower was easy to put together even without the instructions (However, I did have to read them to install the light). An option that I really didn't need anyway.
Our first snowfall of the year started out with rain, through the night changing to snow. 9 inches total. The morning brought high winds causing heavy drifts across my drive-way. I was skeptical before I started (recalling last year's snowblower).
SURPRISE!!!! My Ariens ST26LE made clearing my driveway fun. It did throw the snow 45 plus feet, even with the wet stuff on the bottom.
I think my wife thought I was having problems because of how long it was taking me....not really....I was Having Fun.
The only option that I would like to have that this snowblower doesn't, would be posi-traction.

The "biggest" in the neighborhood!
I got the 26 inch Ariens and have used it many times in the past few weeks (I live in Ohio and we have been belted!)
It eats snow like cereal for breakfast! I was able to move 8 inches of snow from six driveways and I lapped the cul-de-sac sidewalks without running out of gas. It had no issue with the snow thrown up by the snowplows when the street was cleared. I love it!
The delivery was very quick, the one minor issue I had was resolved in days, and I am completely satisfied. I think procuring this machine through Snow Blowers Direct was a great choice and I am 100 percent satisfied!

Not Fully Assembled
I bought the Ariens 920015 and it is a good machine. However, when it arrived, I noticed that one wheel was not driving. It turned out that the factory mis-assembled the drive shaft and hub assembly. It was a quick fix once I knew what the problem was.

Very good but some small faults
First snow fall of the year and we got dumped on!! The snowblower did a great job, in many areas the snow was over the top.
The only issues I have, is the chute controls move TOO easy (like when you're going along and don't want it to) and you can end up throwing snow where you don't want it to go.
The second issue is, with just the single tire engaged you are fighting the snowblower to stay straight and it has no traction. This can be fixed but I need to figure out how to.
SBD RESPONDS: You probably need to engage the pin on the right wheel, if it is in the unengaged position then the wheel would not be locked in.

New snowblower
The new snowblower looks very good. Haven't had any snow yet to try it out on, but people I've talked to that have seen an Ariens snowblower in action say I won"t be disappointed.

Happy with my new snow blower
The purchase went smoothly. I only mention this because as a Canadian customer sometimes USA suppliers have trouble processing credit card purchases with USA shipping addresses. The next stage went as advised, I received the snow blower when promised.
Now I am waiting for the snow. Snow Blowers Direct are very good online retailers. I will report back as to how the Ariens snow blower performs.

Snow blower looks great and hopefully will move lots of snow
This unit came in time and in good packaging.
It was not easy to put together though as there were many items that had to be done to it to get it operational. Also, a small nitpick, the instructions for mounting the light were not clear and the picture was very unhelpful. The light just did not seam to install correctly with out additional hardware.
Other than that the experience dealing snow blowers direct was very satisfying.

Ariens Is Top Quality
I just got my Ariens 920015 delivered from Snow Blowers Direct. I will have to say these folks are awesome with their customer service.
The machine was listed as back-ordered, but it shipped a month ahead of the projected date. The machine arrived in perfect, brand-new condition and was simple to assemble the few parts.
What a quality-looking unit and heavy-duty. No crappy components here. The Briggs & Stratton engine fired up on one pull and runs smoothly. The machine functions perfectly with zero adjustments required.
I am completely satisfied with this transaction through Snow Blowers Direct. Ariens is top quality. I will recommend these folks to my family and friends. Keep up the good work SBD. Thanks...

I bought this snow blower in anticipation for this winter so I cannot comment on how well it works, yet. I will say it is super-heavy duty - just the way I like tools. An excellent design - I can see this lasting 20-25 years easily. It runs like a tank!
The unit arrived with the shoot bolts missing. This was resolved in the next day FedEx delivery. The service was very quick and helpful. So far so good - and I cannot wait to snow blow the neighborhood!!

So far so good.
Bought this model about a week and a half ago and it was delivered on schedule. Not as smooth as something like Fedex since they transferred to a local hauler, but I didn't really care. Pretty straightforward with the parts that needed assemply and it started with ease. Now just need some snow to try it out. Happy with the cost and quality so far. Lowes had a 26" for about $100 less, but the engine was only 209cc and lots of bad reviews on the plastic chute.
