| Great Machine |
| By Ray Powell (Riner, VA) |
I picked this new blower off the freight line loading dock on Thursday. It snowed 12+ inches Friday and Friday night.
The simple 'put together' I had done in the back of my pickup before unloading to the garage. Saturday was great. I did my driveway and two neighbor's driveways before lunch, and was home for the afternoon.
This one had been advertised to throw snow 50+ feet. The first pass I made down my driveway brought my wife out of the house telling me I had to redirect the snow because I was burying the side bed some 65 feet away.
It hasn't appreciably snowed since, but I'm waiting. |

| My experience with Snow Blowers Direct |
| By Laurie DiMaiuta (Staten Island, NY) |
When I ordered my Ariens snowblower, I went by the other reviews I read. Dealing with Snow Blowers direct was the best decision I ever made.
My husband had shoulder surgery and I had to have one delivered before it snowed in Staten Island, NY. Not only was the salesman courteous and helpful but the delivery was awesome.
How was I going to get a 210 lb. snow blower to my back yard? The delivery man brought it back there for me on a pallet - no problem. Who wants to shop anywhere else where you have to lug it home yourself!
We had 17 inches of snow 2 weeks later and let me tell you - I never had so much fun in my life with a new tool. I even had to go to the neighbors to look for more snow to clear.
It was easy for me, but the only problem was that my husband in a sling argued with me to use it too. It was so easy to use he had his fun too.
I want to thank you so much for your wonderful service and I already recommended you to so many people. |

| Let it Snow |
| By Ron (Lake Anna, VA) |
When I ordered this snow blower I had it in less than week. This machine meets all my expectations (very well built).
I have a 250' driveway and after three snow storms (all about 12") it handled the snow easily and I was done in about an hour each time.
I would definitely recommend this equipment. I am ready for the next storm. |

| Ariens is THE SNOW KING |
| By Curt (Sioux City, IA) |
I ordered my Ariens ST24E on 12-29-09 between the holidays and still received it on 1-6-10.With the weather situation I was very happy to get it.
It works like a horse, cuts through snow like butter- Very impressed!!! 21 inches of snow, did not even slow it down.
My only disappointment is that Ariens Product Manual, showed a Halogen Headlight was optional for this model, then I tried to order, and was told there is no such animal?
Love the machine. Thanks, SNOWBLOWERS DIRECT. Would buy again, and/or suggest it to anyone looking for a good product, for a good price.
SBD RESPONDS: We were not able to find a part number for the headlight add-on kit, so asked our Ariens rep to investigate. She states that a headlight kit was not produced for this unit. They may have canceled production after the manual was printed. |

I was totally amazed at how smooth and problem free buying a snowblower on line went.

| A good buy! |
| By Gerald Wilcox (Harvey, ND) |
I was hesitant to buy online, but have been very happy with my purchase.
A quality product at a good price made this a bargain. It was delivered to my address in a timely manner and has been used frequently and worked hard.
It's a tough little machine and I would recommend it to anyone looking to buy a snowblower. |

| My New Snowblower |
| By Roger Fitch (Omaha, NE) |
A very nice snowblower, a good replacement for my 41 year old Ariens 10M 6d model.
It was a very solid machine; 24" width, but with an 8 HP replacement engine I put in perhaps 10 years ago. The auger mechanism on that one died this winter.
I wish the new one wasn't quite so politically-correct. The old one would leave the auger on as long as I wished, and connecting or disconnecting the 2nd drive wheel was easier. And, I wish the chute would turn far more than 90 degrees each way, like the old one did.
Other than that, the new snow blower is very nice. |

| Satisfaction |
| By Steve Kasper (Mansfield, OH) |
I have used my new 24 inch Ariens several times since I received it. It's one fine machine!
I had a single stage that didn't do a great job, especially in wet snow. The Ariens two stage didn't even work hard on the wet snow, it removed it without a problem, and when it came to clearing light snow, it threw it 35 to 40 ft.
I think I made the right decision with the Ariens.
I couldn't believe how fast after ordering that I received it, I live in Ohio and it only took two days- super service! I would recommend Snow Blowers Direct to anyone, in fact I told my friend about it, and he ordered one also!
Thanks, for the great product, and all the information on your web site. |

| Awesome |
| By Dustin (Fremont, NE) |
I just got this unit today- it cuts right through crusty, rock hard, week old snow.
I'm not sure if the claim that it shoots snow 50 feet is true, but I'm glad I got the 250 cc. Not sure if I'd be happy with the smaller one. A guy can never have too much power.
If I could do it over, I probably would have gotten the "prosumer" grade one with the light for another couple hundred bucks. I'm sure there's other, better differences, but I'm really happy with what I've got. |

| Worth The Extra Bucks |
| By tyler (Duluth, MN) |
I have had this snow blower for two years, it is great and the power is worth the extra bucks.
I haven't had one problem since I bought it, and I live in the snowy state of Minnesota. |

| ST24E vs. ST20E |
| By Jon Hoch, Founder (Bolingbrook, IL) |
The Ariens ST24E is nearly identical to the compact Ariens ST20E with two major exceptions.
First, it features a more powerful Briggs & Stratton 1150 Snow Series engine.
Secondly, the auger is 24" x 21" vs. 20" x 17.5" wide.
Basically, it can intake more snow since it has the extra power to throw it.
Yes, this deluxe model costs more than the compact version, but you'll be able to clear deeper snow much faster.
After all, time is money. |

| Farmer's Almanac Winter 2010 Forecast |
| By Jon Hoch, Founder (Bolingbrook, IL) |
Groundhogs Day is a downright hoax. The Farmer’s Almanac, however, may be onto something.
Last year, the 193-year-old publication was on target when it called for the second straight winter with lots of snow.
The almanac's 2010 edition is predicting a major snowfall in mid-February possibly even blizzard conditions for New England.
The 2008 & 2009 winters in Chicago were unseasonably harsh. Spring waited until late May to finally sprung two years in a row.
In fact, it’s been cool in the Windy City this summer too. Despite all the hysteria over global warming, Chicago didn’t see a single day over 100 degrees this summer. We experienced only a handful of days above 90 degrees.
Will the cold streak continue as predicted? We’ll find out soon enough. |
