 Great Snow Blower, Tricky Chute

Love the machine, but am having some of the same issues with the chute not maintaining its position. It wants to drift back to the center. I am going to try adjusting the gear assembly as advised by Ariens and hope it will help.

 Trouble

I love the snow blower, but I've had constant trouble with the chute- it spins by itself. I'm missing a spring and some other parts, I guess. My local dealer doesn't have a clue; they ordered the wrong spring.

I had to figure it out for myself with a modification. It sometimes works now, but it's sort of annoying. Plus, the dealer says I can only buy 6 shear bolts at a time.

I'll make it work somehow. I think Ariens should improve on that feature.

I have a steep 425' driveway that is easy to fall on when covered with snow and ice. I felt the track model would be what I needed with sections as steep as 13 degrees.

After a recent 20" snow I found the Snow Blower to operate flawlessly and quickly.
