I love the snow blower, but I've had constant trouble with the chute- it spins by itself. I'm missing a spring and some other parts, I guess. My local dealer doesn't have a clue; they ordered the wrong spring.
I had to figure it out for myself with a modification. It sometimes works now, but it's sort of annoying. Plus, the dealer says I can only buy 6 shear bolts at a time.
I'll make it work somehow. I think Ariens should improve on that feature.

I have a steep 425' driveway that is easy to fall on when covered with snow and ice. I felt the track model would be what I needed with sections as steep as 13 degrees.
After a recent 20" snow I found the Snow Blower to operate flawlessly and quickly.
