The vast majority of two-stage snow blowers are electric start with a recoil backup.
Here's the catch. You plug the snow blower into an extension cord to use the electric starter.
It works great as long as your close to civilization.
What happens when your blazin' a trail in a remote area and don't have the strength to pull the recoil cord?
You either need a mile long extension cord or your snow blower is literally stuck where it stops.
This unique Ariens model, however, features a 12-volt key starter instead. Like a riding lawn mower, the electric starter is connected to a battery mounted on the snow blower.
You simply turn a key, and the snow blower cranks right up, keeping you from getting stranded.
This model is ideal for the snow removal professional, custodian or maintenance maverick, who doesn't have time to fumble with an extension cord. |

I am very satisfied with the Ariens snow blower.We got a good old 2 day snow storm here in Saskatchewan,Canada.
It was blowing snow that was anywhere from 13 - 20 inches deep and it did a fantastic job.
It was blowing snow further that I thought it would and it had lots of power. I would recommend this snow blower to everyone. |
