1 Question
Q: I'm looking for a snowblower for next year. I live in Zephyr Cove, Tahoe. I need one that is powerful enough to handle the snowfall, but easy enough for me to handle- I'm a 60 year old woman and because my husband is a heart patient, I will be the one to use it. Our drive way is wide enough for two cars and the length of two and a half, plus the walkway. Can you give me suggestions? Preferably one that is not discontinued! by Deborah Jiron from Nevada on May 04, 2011
A: My suggestion would be either something like this or you could go with something a little smaller, but with similar options. Ariens makes a very nice unit as well. Something like the ST24DLE would be a great option.
Usually the toughest thing about snow blowers is turning them. With a unit like this or the Ariens ST24DLE, you would have traction drive, this is going to allow you to pull a trigger and release a wheel for easier turning. Great for people who may struggle with wrestling to turn the snow blower.
Excellent product in every way. I would not change a thing about it. It has a lot of power and throws the snow clear out of the way. The last one I had does not compare to it all.
It was a very good decision to purchase a Husqvarna. Thank you very much for offering such a fine machine for sale on your site.

Great machine, Great Delivery Service
I hadn't been up to the cabin all winter to see how much snow I would have to clear on my 300' drive, so my first project with my newly arrived Husqvarna 14527E Crown blower was to throw in into the back of the truck and head up north to have some fun in the snow.
The blower performed flawlessly, with a little over 2 feet of snow to clear and 1.5 hrs. later it was well worth the investment. Very sturdy piece of equipment, it is not as agile as my old worn out lightweight blower, because of the heavier much better built machine.
When I ordered online, I was surprised to have the the blower delivered in 3 days. First class on-time delivery service and the driver moved the equipment right into my garage.
I would definitely recommend this piece of equipment.

Where I live in the Northeast, a large storm was forcasted for my area. After years for putting off getting a snow thrower, I decided it was time. With the forecast all of the local big box stores were out of stock and offered no estimate of stock returning. With that I went to snowblowersdirect.com and ordered the Husqvarna 14527E model. I found it to be a mix of pro options and a size I could manage. When the thrower arrived, it was well packed and I was still ahead of the oncoming storm. 1 hour of assembly later, I was gassed up and ready to go. This model has all the convienences I could have wanted and more. I would recommend this to anyone who is comfortable with a larger machine, because if you are under 150lbs, it will pull you along nicely.

Outstanding!!
Ordering was easy. The delivery company was fantastic - actually called to confirm delivery time and arrived on time. Snowblower is easy to start, works great - especially chewing up the icebergs the snow plow leaves at the end of the driveway and is fun to use. Love the electric hand warmers, too. We were faster at clearing our driveway than my neighbor with a snowplow as we were able to blow it out of the way instead of trying to push it over 4 foot snow banks. Great experience and would recommend to all.
