I bought this particular model towards the end of the winter but still got some good use out of it. Let me start off by saying that I live on Long Island, NY and we do get hit with some pretty heavy snow storms from time to time.
For a single-stage snow blower this thing is pretty powerful and with a little bit of muscle I had hardly any problems chomping through 2.5 to 3 foot of snow. I have a very large property with two separate driveways and should have probably bought something a little bigger perhaps with headlights and a blow horn but this thing really helped me out big time!
I would recommend this machine to anyone with a decent size property and moderate snow fall. The only negative comment I’d have to say is that this particular machine is made of mostly plastic so you have to be careful when maneuvering. I hit something and a piece cracked off!
