Q: is McCulloch 24" 208cc twostage good on inclines. I have a hill on my driveway and don't want it to spin the tires and not make it up.

A: This model would not be great on inclines without any kind of chains. You would honestly have this problem with just about any wheeled two stage snow blowers. When it comes to inclines, the best unit really would be a track model.

Finally Snowed On Long Island

Jan 21 2012 - finally had snow on Long Island, NY, about 5 inches of fluffy snow. Purchased this machine in August right after hurricane Irene. Uncrated it, added fuel and oil and it started right up. Ran it for first time yesterday. Worked great. Threw snow with ease, plenty of power for this moderate amount of snow.

Large driveway and parking area cleared in under 45 minutes as opposed to over two hours if shoveling. Very happy with PED experience from start to finish, and will be back for more when I need additional equipment.

P.s. also bought a Gererac generator in August, wait... more
