E-Commerce Company Ranks Among the Fastest Growing Private Companies

BOLINGBROOK, IL (August 26, 2010) - Power Equipment Direct earned recognition as one of the nation's fastest growing private companies in the United States for the fourth consecutive year by Inc. Magazine.

The online power equipment retailer ranked 2,481 on the recently released 2010 Inc. 5,000 list. It also ranked as the 97th fastest growing company in the Chicagoland metropolitan area.

Methodology: The 2010 Inc. 5000 list measures revenue growth from 2006 through 2009. To qualify, companies must be U.S.-based and privately held, independent - not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies - as of December 31, 2009.
