Great Machine. Poor Documentation

This snow blower has well thought out controls. But, it apparently has a Chinese engine.

I hope it holds up in the long haul. It is a light machine, which will make it easier to turn. It has a 6 horse OHV engine, which is plenty of power. It starts and runs well, but I have not yet used it to snow blow.

What is really too bad is that Poulan didn't do well with the owners manual or engine manual. If you follow all the instructions to assemble your snow blower it will not run!

They forgot to mention that you need to connect the ignition wire dangling on the bottom part of the engine. The instructions say in many places, including on the machine itself, to put the throttle on full for starting and running. There is no throttle!

One thing I don't understand about the design is why would you need both an ON/OFF switch and an ignition key?
