Q: Will this unit require assembly when it gets delivered? is this unit calibrated before i receive it to ensure that it starts on the first try? Does this unit retain it's factory warranty. If service is needed within the factory warranty will authorized snapper repair stations honor the warranty?

A: The unit would need some minor assembly. This would pertain to the handle bars and the chute. Otherwise, everything else is ready to go. The unit will already be set up, so no calibration would be needed. All the products we sell are under full manufacturer warranty. If service would be needed, you can take these to a local Snapper service center in your area and they would honor warranty.

To whom ever this helps when purchasing a Snow Blower ....I had a MTD for the past 7 to 8 years ...didn't owe me a dime first year I bought it made what I paid for and some. Was looking to get all the bells and whistles that i could get plus the power to throw snow the farthest since i have to clear 50ft. of black top. Never ordered anything before that I could not touch before I bought. Read all the reviews, looked at what gave me the most bang for my buck and choose the Snapper M1529E (29") 305cc Two-Stage Snow Blower.
