| Snow Blowers Direct Recommendation |
| By Snow Blowers Direct |
Electric snow blowers don't get any more powerful than the Snow Joe 13-Amp electric snow blower.
SnowBlowersDirect.com features the Snow Joe 622U1 - not the 622U. The 622U is a good model; however, the 622U1 features and upgraded deflector control and belt system without any extra cost.
Even if you don't buy the Snow Joe from us, make sure you get the upgraded 622U1 model. You'll appreciate the difference. |

| The best for its size |
| By Gene Anderson (Ironton, MN) |
Well it is no story, this little unit does the job! You shouldn't ask it to do what a big blower does.
For its size I have been able to do my 33' walk and steps just fine. I live in northern Minnesota and we have had plenty of snow this year.
It has done all I have asked it to do. Now how long will it last? |

| At Least We're Ready For The Next Storm |
| By John Gorence (Louisville, KY) |
I can't write a review because when I orderd my snow blower we were expecting snow a week later. My luck- the snow came early, we had the worst ice and snow in Louisville Ky in years!
So my Snow Joe was stuck on a UPS truck for eight days. Now the temperature is in the high 60's. Maybe we will have a late snow... |

| Good For Light Snow |
| By Dave Rohbock (Geneva, IL) |
The snow clogs up and you have to shake it to clear the chute. It doesn't throw the snow very far.
I've used it twice this winter when there was 6-7 inches of snow. You have to peck away at the snow, a little at a time. It takes me about 2 hours to clear an average size driveway.
It's fine for 2-3 inches, but not meant for Chicago-type weather. |

| Snow In Ohio |
| By Kimberly Hurd (Maple Heights, OH) |
I purchased this snow thrower last October after doing lots of research and reading reviews. I have to say this was a great investment.
My husband thought I wasted money until today when we had our first big snowfall (we have almost 12 inches in our driveway), and he went out there and cleared our long driveway with no problems!
He loves it, and I love not having to worry about him outside shovelling, especially today since I can't help him due to having surgery.
No one would ever guess what I paid because it works so well! And with no tax or shipping thats an even greater bonus! |

| Snow Joe Ultra (19") 13-Amp Electric Snow Thrower Review |
| By Jordan (Cleveland, OH) |
A couple winters ago, I was outside shoveling my driveway, and I was having pains, so my friend let me use his snowblower.
It was a lot easier to clear my driveway. I liked it so much that I bought one. Now, I use it all the time. |

| How to Pick the Perfect Winter Extension Cord |
| By Jon Hoch, Founder (Bolingbrook, IL) |
U.S. Wire and Cable claims this cord can withstand temperatures as low as -94°F, so we put it to the test.
Since it doesn't get that cold outside, we did the closest thing. We stuffed it inside the freezer for a week!
We were shocked and surprised by the results.
The cord stayed flexible. It felt just like an ordinary extension cord at room temperature. You won't lose any flexibility - even on the coldest days.
This Extreme cord is perfect for electric snow throwers. It comes in 50- and 100-foot lengths, so you can clear your driveway all the way to the curb. |

| Snow Joe Ultra (19") 13-Amp Electric Snow Thrower Review |
| By Dee Williams (Gary, IN) |
I placed my order for this snow thrower Monday afternoon February 4, 2008.
The UPS man was at my door today Wednesday afternoon February 6, 2008.
I just put it together per instructions. Snow is on the horizon. After shoveling snow two days in a row, I decided it was time to find an easier way.
I am waiting for my brother to come back to advise me on the best electrical cord.
I can't wait to use it. It will be a lot less wear and tear on me.
After reading a review from another lady, I read the manual. I was very careful that I paid attention to the pictures. I did not find it difficult to assemble. |

A very excellent machine for the money.
Flexible and powerful enough for our northeast snow.
The manual is terrible. Be sure to read all the FAQs on the Snow Joe web site even before you begin assembly. |

| Snow Joe Ultra (19") 13-Amp Electric Snow Thrower Review |
| By mike peters (Albany, NY) |
This is the best out of three snow blowers that I've ever bought.
I thought this was great. Starts every time. No constant pulling of a cord, and messing with the choke on a tempermental carbeurator. Quieter too. No smoke in your face and high gas bills.
I owned a new Lawn Boy and a used Toro and hated them both. If they ever started when you needed them, it took a lot of pulling and mixing gas and oil. Gas isn't cheap, nor is two-cycle engine oil.
This snow blower did what the gas-powered ones did. Most of the time, the fuel and oil plugged up the needle and seat, causing more time to be in the repair shop and none cleaning the snow off the drive way like it was suppose to do.
Only problem was buying a 14-amp, 14-gauge cord heavy enough for it. Just plug it in and go to it! : ) |

| By Michael Day (Cedar Rapids, IA) |
It's nice to have an electric snow blower that has enough power to do the big jobs.
I don't have to hassle with oil and gas, and it's simple to use. Just plug it in and start clearing snow.
