| Snow Blowers Direct Recommendation |
| By Snow Blowers Direct |
Whether you'll love Toro's Power Shovel 38361 or hate it depends on your expectations. If you expect the Power Shovel Plus to be a snow blower that takes all the labor out of clearing the driveway, you are going to be disappointed. If you don't mind doing a little shoveling and are looking for a way to make it easier, this is the product for you.
The 38361 is a powered shovel that uses a two-blade plastic rotor to brush snow from in front of you as you push it along. There are no wheels on the Power Shovel, so you will need to do the pushing. This is still a laborsaving device because it eliminates the lifting and throwing of the snow. Toro's handy, lightweight machine protects your back, but using it is still labor. You will need a long extension cord to power this machine.
The success or failure of the Toro Power Shovel depends greatly on the snow. Too much snow can overpower it, as will heavy, wet snow. We recommend that you consider this product for climates where limited snowfall is expected. The Power Shovel is ideal for clearing your front porch and the steps and walkway up to your front door, as well as decks and patios. Short stretches of sidewalk and small driveways can also benefit from its use as long as the amount of snow is not overwhelming.
Pros: Lightweight, inexpensive snow collection tool, especially handy for moving light snow out of small areas, as easy to use as an upright vacuum cleaner, can hang to store
Cons: Can be overpowered by heavy, wet snow, large accumulations and big driveways; cord can get in the way

| Snow Removal help for Seniors |
| By Bob (Walpole, MA) |
I'm 78 and my wife is 71. We are both active and still do our own yard work and snow removal. We live in a Boston suburb and, of course, have a lot of snow to contend with most winters.
We have been using an Ariens snow blower on our long driveway for years but our relatively large back deck has been a problem because it has to be shoveled, with the snow thrown over the railings that enclose the deck. This is tough on our backs.
Now we are able to take care of that problem with the Toro power shovel--it's the perfect solution. |

| Better Homes & Garden Video Review |
| By Jon Hoch, Founder (Bolingbrook, IL) |
Better Homes and Gardens publishes a great magazine.
Their first attempt at video isn't quite as good.
While the video is very shaky, it still provides a good look at the Toro Power Shovel in action.
Check out the video. Then, buy it online directly from us. |

| Good for smaller jobs |
| By Zen Martinsen (Running Springs, CA) |
This is a good tool for the smaller jobs. It is perfect for walkways and decks and such when you only have a few inches of snow. It's kinda like pushing a vacuum.
The only thing I don't like is that it only blows the snow out in front of you. Which is usually the direction you are traveling so you end up being creative in the direction you push it. More diagonals so it gets the snow out of your way.
Overall, it is easy to use, not too heavy, and does exactly what is sets out to do. I moved up to the Toro 1800 Power Curve this year and wrote a review for that too. It is a VERY A1 product for the larger jobs. Toro rocks! |

| Snowless in Seattle |
| By Giorgio (Bellevue, WA) |
We have little snow in Seattle, but I am happy in doing this purchase.
I was trying to save money before by not having a good solution to remove snow, but it is pretty sure it was a bad decision.
Even if you have only one or two days of snow a year, I strongly recommend getting an electric snow thrower. |
