| Snow Blowers Direct Recommendation |
| By Snow Blowers Direct |
The Toro Power Max 1128OXE will plow through even the toughest snow – fast. Its commercial-grade design keeps homeowners in mind with its convenient hand controls for easy turning and chute control. The 1128OXE is ideal for clearing large or extra-large surfaces, and all surface types – even gravel. Heavy, wet snow is no match for this mighty machine.
The Toro 1128OXE will clear up to 2,200 lbs of snow per minute, and throw it out of the way at distances up to 45 feet (depending on snow conditions). Power through snow as deep as 21 inches on a single pass.
And talk about features! The Toro 1128OXE includes free wheel power steering for effortless maneuverability. Turn on a dime with the flex of a finger. Handle-mounted triggers allow you to disengage one or both wheels, making turning, reversing, and steering adjustments easy for anyone. The Quick Stick® chute control allows you to change the chute direction quickly and easily using a joystick controller on the console. And a pivoting scraper, available exclusively on the Toro 1128OXE, allows the scraper to pivot front to back, clearing down to the pavement and preventing sudden stops from cracks or contours on the surface being cleared of snow.
Every inch of Toro 1128OXE snow thrower - from its skid shoes up to its Quick Stick® chute control - has been designed to make this the most user-friendly, advanced snow thrower Toro has ever made.

| Beautiful, mean looking machine |
| By frenchy lamebull (Grants, NM) |
Received my Toro snowblower and managed to assemble it without much difficulty....it's a beautiful, mean looking machine, and although I am not looking forward to a snowy winter I am nonetheless anxious to start throwing that accumulation of white stuff somewhere out of my driveway!
Thanks for the speedy shipment! Cheers! |

| Why You Really Need a Front Weight Kit |
| By Jon Hoch, Founder (Bolingbrook, IL) |
Front weight kits serve two important purposes for two-stage snow blowers.
The first (and most obvious) reason is to prevent "kick ups."
The extra weight simply keeps the bucket planted firmly on the ground, preventing it from riding up when clearing snow drifts.
The second reason is actually pretty simple, but often overlooked.
Your snow blower is a lot like a seesaw. The weight is counterbalanced on the back wheels.
When you add a heavy snow cab to the back, the weight is no longer balanced.
As a result, the snow blower tends to kick up much more often.
If you get a snow cab, you really should get a front weight kit too. |
