Toro (21-7/8") Single-Stage Snow Blower Paddle

I have had this snow thrower for three years. I have always drained the fuel and added Sta-bil for the summer.

I put fresh gas in it this winter and a new plug- it would not start. I checked the fuel line and it was clear. I called the dealer since it is guaranteed to start for five years. I told him I would bring it in to be repaired, he didn't sound too thrilled.

Needless to say we have had 18 inches of snow this week and I have a heart condition. I HAD TO SHOVEL MY DRIVEWAY. The dealer has had the thrower for ten days now.

If I would have known I would not have it back for a week or two I would have bought an MTD. It probably would have been a lot cheaper.

I thought Toro was the best, but now you have my opinion. I borrowed my neighbors MTD to finish my drive and it worked great. SO MUCH FOR GUARANTEED TO START!!!!!

The repair shop is closed for the holiday, so it didn't help me much. Oh well- live and learn; the more expensive is not always the best. If I buy another one I'll buy a cheap one.

SBD RESPONDS: It sounds like another service center might work better for you. There are at least 5 in the South Bend area.
