Very Happy With My Purchase
I have a long driveway (100-Yds) and it is uphill. The RapidTrak runs up it effortlessly. It is gravel and the chute hung up several times. I had to push down on the handles to get it moving again. The auto turn works well and with the option to lift the rear of the track, it operates like a wheeled blower and maneuvers more easily in that mode. The engine is loud and hearing protection is a must. The downside is the high cost and touch assembly. The cable end slots for the output chute angle... more
Pros: Features, Easy To Use, Fast, I'd Buy It Again
Cons: Expensive, Cable end slots were too small and had to be modified

"I put in my order on the 14th of November and was told it was back ordered and would ship on the 20th of November. The 20th came and went and I was not notified. I asked what happened and was told it would ship the 21st of December, but actually shipped on the 9th. I received it two days early on the 18th. It arrived in good shape with no shipping damage."

Beast Of A Machine!
This is my second Ariens snowblower. I chose this model because I needed an engine with more power to clear my driveway. I also wanted tractor wheels. Clearing snow in an urban environment poses the challenge of where to put it. Directing snow that is 10-20 inches down a narrow 75 ft. driveway to a city curb without causing your neighbors anguish was my challenge. My old Ariens was okay but I still struggled. After blowing the snow down to the sidewalk, I then had to dig into a deep pile and... more

"My greatest complaint is definitely the instructions that comes with the machine. The pages that instruct you to adjust the unit were better to follow. I had to call the technical department for one matter. They solved my issue immediately."

Well Made Usa Snow Blower That Sets The Standard
This new Pro Rapid Trak (28') was partially disassembled for shipment, but easy to reassemble with the included instructions. Started up on the first pull. Used all operating capabilities on my 400 ft. driveway and 2200 sq.ft. parking area. It operated without a hitch and moved the snow easily. The hydro-static transmission and differential steering is really worth the price difference of the normal friction disk transmission. Plus, it will significantly reduce drive maintenance/adjustment... more

Cable Slot Issue
I own one of these Rapid Track snowblowers and am very impressed with its performance. I just want to respond to the comment about the slot in the bracket for the chute angle release as well as the tilt adjustment. The slot is narrow but wide enough to accommodate the cable itself without modification at least with my unit. The trick is to slide the rubber boot toward the loop at the end of the cable and pass the only the cable through the slot first. You can then slide the plastic clip... more
Pros: Durable, Features, Fast, High Quality
Cons: Expensive
